Meiko the Dog Takes Off / Hybrid Animation

Motion Graphics Class Project:

The goal of this project was to integrate animation into a live action video. In order to do this, I had a video of a family members dog recorded for me to use after making a style frame that illustrated ( with Adobe Photoshop ) my vision. Toon Boom Harmony was used to make most of the frames that would be used on top of the footage. Adobe Photoshop was used to illustrate and alter some backgrounds that would be used to blend everything together. After making impact frames, I exported all frames with PNGs and exported everything into Adobe After Effects. This is where I would blend everything together, composite the project, and animate the fire and particles at the end using tools from the software.
